I feel disappointed when I ditch a book, but it's also empowering. Hope the upcoming books are better than the abandoned one.

CAN'T WAIT to hear your thoughts on Pastrix! I love her.She blogs over at patheos.com and posts her sermons there as well, if you're wanting more. And remember the sermon after the Aurora shooting? That's on there, too (search for \”defiant alleluias\”).

Thanks Bettina 😀 They are called gifs. There's quite a debate on how that is pronounced though, lol. I say gif with a hard g. Some people pronounce it like jif the peanut butter 😉

I just put The Perfume Collector on hold at our local library; totally amazed they even have it! Good for you for giving up on a book which disappointed you. It's taken me years to learn that necessary skill.

Wonderful, I hope you like it! When I was younger I thought it was a personal failing if I didn't finish every book I started. How ridiculous is that? Now I know better. If something isn't speaking to me I set it aside. There are too many great books out there to waste time on the less than wonderful.
