We’re chatting about The Liar’s Gospel today over at BOOK CLUB. I won’t be writing a full review here but I will say this: I loved this book. It’s a fantastic tale.
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t thrilled by the controversial tidbits. This book has the potential to really piss people off. I kinda dig that.

I think even if you do take the Bible at face value, there is so much that isn't included. It's always interesting to speculate about the things that happened in between. I'm off to check out the Book Club conversation. 🙂

I haven't read this one but I think I need to! I'm with you- I kinda like a little controversy. I think this is why I love to read banned books. It leaves me feeling like a rebel, which feels kinda awesome 🙂 Thanks for sharing,Happy Reading,Rebecca @ The Key to the Gate

I recently read and reviewed Dangerous Liaisons. While I was reading it I was thinking about how I totally would have been one of the deviants out buying a copy way back when it was labeled as a MORAL OUTRAGE!! 😉

Pillars of the Earth is one of my all time favorites 🙂 It does have that sort of flavor!
