Weekly Wrap-Up 03/25/13

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is hosted by Sheila @ Book Journey

It was a good week and a very busy weekend! Bloggiesta time, wowza. I got a lot done but my eyeballs feel like they are going to fall out from too much screen time! My family celebrated a birthday as well. My baby girl turned 13. Gulp.

  1. Love the cover of The Clover House, haven't seen any reviews for it so I'm looking forward to yours. Have a great week and happy reading, wherever your mood takes you 🙂

  2. I've been finding that even though I plan which books to read next, I don't end up reading those books. Sometimes it's just hard to think about. Have a great week!

  3. I hadn't heard of The Confidant but I love historical fiction and it sounds like an easy book to get wrapped up in. I will have to keep an eye out for this one. I definitely need to participate in the next Bloggiesta. There is still so much I need to learn! Thanks for sharing your experience. Have a great week!Rebecca @ The Key to the Gate

  4. I've heard a lot of good things about Fever recently, and it seems like you really enjoyed it as well. I've read a lot of fictionalized stories about historical figures lately, but this one seems worth checking out!

  5. I absolutely love the cover to Frankenstein. I need to read that book at some point, been on my to read list for some time. Sad I missed out on Bloggiesta, I keep telling myself I need to do that but always seem to miss it. Maybe next time. Here is my Monday post.

  6. I really look forward to hearing your thoughts on Frankenstein. It is such a classic well known story. Yet despite that and its age I found the novel particularly dark and disturbing.

  7. Yes! I participated in the Bloggiesta. I'm kinda a newbie, so I learned a lot. I started blogging about a year and a half ago. Up until now I've concentrated on becoming a better writer (still working on that!), but now I would like to learn more about the design of my blog. I learned how to make a Blog Button and write the code for it! Very happy! I'm still working on my bloggiesta list. 🙂

  8. Hooray for newbies! I'm one of those too 😉 I've been blogging for less than a year so I'm constantly learning. I love picking the brains of long time bloggers as well. Writing code!! That's way beyond this girl!

  9. I just received Clover House via LibraryThing. I'm anxious to read it! When I read that it takes place in Greece I knew I wanted to read it. My new husband is Greek thus, now I am interested in all things Greek.
