Farewell February!

Buzz off February. I’m done with you.

Oh February. Why do you last an eternity? Why am I always so sick of you by the time your end rolls around? I’m breaking up with you February. I’m going to start seeing March…a much more tolerable month. It’s been real. Now go away.

The books I read this month:

  1. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
  2. Rage by Stephen King
  3. Marriage Confidential by Pamela Haag
  4. The Midwife’s Tale by Sam Thomas
  5. A Thousand Pardons by Jonathan Dee
  6. Oleander Girl by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni
  7. White Dog Fell From the Sky by Eleanor Morse
  8. Property by Valerie Martin
  9. Wife 22 by Melanie Gideon
  10. The Guilty One by Lisa Ballantyne
  11. The Painted Girls by Cathy Marie Buchanan
  12. Calling Me Home by Julie Kibler
  13. Hell Bent by Benjamin Lorr
  14. The Most Dangerous Game by Richard Connell
  15. A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith
  16. Year of Wonders by Geraldine Brooks
I abandoned a few books as well, but we won’t talk about those. Shhhh.

  2. Your gifs crack me up! I'm sorry February wasn't good for you. I honestly have no idea how I did so far. I'll be writing up my month-end post tomorrow when I have my spreadsheet and its glorious details in front of me. All I know is that Goodreads has me as two books ahead of my goal, which is wonderful considering most of the books I've read lately have been 400-600 pages. I hope March is much better for you!

  3. Looking at your list, February seems a lot longer than it felt at the time. So glad it's March! My February was pretty good, got lots read (at least by my slow reading standards).

  4. I'm 3 books ahead of last year February, but I'm 3 books behind my personal goal for this year. I think March will be my catch up month though.

  5. February flew by for me, maybe its because I was holiday from work for two of the weeks, I'm sure it would have dragged had I been stuck in work. 16 books! Wow! I haven't even read half that many… Have I even read a quarter of that many?! Well done on your Goodreads count!

  6. Maybe it's a good thing February drags on so long, gives you time to kick butt on that reading list! Wow. impressive. Lots on your list that I want to read. I hope March is as good a reading month for you but considerably warmer, I'm sick of cold weather too and we live in the South! Not even like snow is an issue, just too blasted cold for the kids to play outside and we all get stir crazy. Thanks for sharing.

  8. Oh My! You did have a fabulous February. Just yesterday I found myself baffled that it is now March. I saw that you are currently reading The Obituary Writer. I just saw a promotion for this one recently and thought it looked like a good one. I look forward to reading your thoughts on it.Happy Reading!Rebecca @ The Key to the Gate
