Day #28: A book you wish you had never read
This could be a long list. But even the crappy books I’ve read have taught me something. However there was one book that I started that I wish I hadn’t even picked up. To be frank I wish it had never been written.
It was so ultra-stupid that I read less than a page before I put it down. In disgust. Stop messing with Jane Austen, please!
Day #29: An author that you completely avoid/hate/won’t read
Danielle Steel. No, just no.
Day #30: An author that you will read whatever they put out
A few authors came to mind. J.K.Rowling..but I haven’t read The Casual Vacancy yet so she doesn’t count. Ken Follett…but I haven’t read his early crime stuff so I guess he doesn’t count either? Bah. I don’t know if I’ve read the entire works of any author? (Besides dead folks that won’t be putting out any more books!)
I’m going to say Rita Supetys because Between Shades of Grey was amazing, and she has a new book called Out of the Easy coming out in February and I’ll definitely be reading it.
That concludes my adventures with The 30 Day Book Challenge. It was a hoot and I hope you enjoyed the posts!
Haha, I had no urge to read P&P & Zombies anyway but now I will definitely steer clear!

That Pride and Prejudice and Zombies looks hilarious, but I haven't even read the classic yet! Although I will before the end of 2012! I've also never read nor will ever read Danielle Steele. And I think you CAN count J.K. even though you haven't Casual Vacancy'ed yet because you WILL read it. So in essence, you will read everything that she comes out with, but maybe you just haven't yet. I'll read anything by Stephen King, Margaret Atwood, J.K. for sure. When I was a teenager, I would do that allll the time: find one book that I loved and read everything that author wrote. When I was a teen, Caroline B. Cooney could do no wrong for me! 🙂

I have loved following your 30-day posts! I'm going to tackle it myself in December… although I might use a different challenge list (there are a few floating around online, still need to decide). You inspired me to give it a try… and many of your 30-day books ended up on my TBR list…! Thanks.

The one I'm doing I literally found on Facebook by searching for 30 Day Challenge, so there are tons out there (plus, you could always create your own or mix and match). And I will read P&P! I'll get to it in January for sure!

My book club read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies just last month. It was…definitely odd. I didn't hate it, but I absolutely prefer Austen in her original form! And it made me want to go watch the Kiera Knightley P & P movie–so I did!
