Another month is ending. Goodbye August, you were another weird month in a very strange year. I do believe I’ve run out of ways to describe the times we’re living in. Unprecedented doesn’t cover it. I would like to go back to PRECEDENTED times, thank you (as far as pandemics go that is).

It was a good month of books with lots of nonfiction, a couple of comforting re-reads, #OwnVoices, and even a dash of YA fantasy.

I did not get a lot of reading done in August, because I had a big editing deadline. But I am psyched for reading more this month; thank goodness my library is open for curbside pickup!
