The gals at The Broke and The Bookish have asked us to list the books on our summer to-be-read pile for this weeks Top Ten Tuesday.
Here are a few of the books I’m hoping to read this summer:
Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier
The Book of Someday by Dianne Dixon
To Rise Again at at Decent Hour by Joshua Ferris
A Replacement Life by Boris Fishman
Summer House with Swimming Pool by Herman Koch
That Night by Chevy Stevens
What goes better with a book on a warm summer day than a deliciously sweet and cold creamsicle cocktail? You have to try my very favorite new drink recipe.
I use UV Whipped and a Magic Bullet blender to make an icy, frosty, stupidly good drink. (My dad, strictly a beer drinker, even declared these to be “pretty damn good!” That’s saying something.)
What books are you hoping to get to this summer? Do you have a go-to summer beverage?

I haven't read any of them, but Rebecca is on my list.I don't plan my reads in summer, so well, I'll read as always 🙂
I'm looking forward to Summer House with Swimming Pool and That Night as well! Sounds like I need to check out Rebecca based on all these comments 🙂
Yay, Rebecca! Also, I just got a \”Dessert Bullet\” for my birthday. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm super excited.
