The Relentless Reader’s Favorite Book Covers of 2013

It’s never easy picking favorites, but it was a joy to look back at the gorgeous cover art from this year. Here are 8 of my favorite stunners:

Cartwheel by Jennifer duBois

Golden Boy by Abigail Tarttelin

The Translator by Nina Schuyler

The Telling Room by Michael Paterniti

The Unchangeable Spots of Leopards by Kristopher Jansma

The Love Song of Jonny Valentine by Teddy Wayne

Whistling Past the Graveyard by Susan Crandall

Cascade by Maryanne O’Hara

I’d love to know what some of your favorite covers were this year. Let me know in the comments!

  1. I think my favorite covers this year were the Juliet Dark trilogy covers. It's hard to say thought without being able to line all the books I read up and judge at once though. You've picked some good ones there!

  3. The Love Song of Jonny Valentine by Teddy Wayne was such a great cover. Like Kristin I would of mentioned The Dinner (the lobster cover) and How to Get Filthy Rich in Rising Asia (hardcover). I would also mention Tampa (the UK/Australian button cover) and The Machine by James Smythe
