Thanks for the generous giveaway, Jennifer! You're awesome. What would I buy with the $50?? Oh, man.. probably a couple books on narrative theory & also a \”fun\” book. Maybe \”Passion: A Novel of the Romantic Poets\” by Jude Morgan. I've had my eye on that for a while (actually ordered it a month or so ago but they sent me the wrong book!).

I don't have a list per se, but I do tend to stick to the \”classics,\” an over-used word if there ever was one. There are simply so many great books from decades/centuries back that I feel compelled to start there. Such titles are also much more likely to be found at a library. Besides, with the Vine Program on Amazon, I get enough newer titles to keep me busy on that front. I see many folks have huge collections of books at home. Oddly enough, I don't keep too many books, so whatever I've bought and read, I tend to donate, give away, or stick on the shelf in the teacher's lounge where I work in the hopes that someone else takes them home. Unlike cds or dvds, I rarely enjoy a book more than once. I have read The Age of Innocence twice (unbelievably beautiful) as well as my field manual for life, The Razor's Edge. Beyond that, no matter how much I love a book, I don't hold on to it. It seems a shame to have it collect dust when others could be reading it. I tell you one I do want to read is Les Liaisons dangereuses by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos. Your Amazon review of it brought me into your lovely online world! 🙂

There are a few books that I'll re-read every couple of years. To Kill a Mockingbird, Alice in Wonderland, The Catcher in the Rye, and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. 🙂 Usually, when I'm done with a book I donate it. Unless it's a classic that I *might* re-read and/or one that my kids might read of course. But usually I send books to my fellow bloggers or I'll donate them to the library. Now and then I'll even leave a stack on a shelf at my local coffee shop :)Thanks so much for visiting and commenting Steve!

Loads of books… too many to name. It'll mostly be new YA releases and also get the whole sets of the books like The Maze Runner by James Dashner! Thanks for the giveaway =)
