  1. Have fun with Meany! I love that book. Maybe I will go ahead and reread it. You all seem to be having fun with it 😀

  2. I'm still on the fence about joining the MEANY read-along … really, really want to but so many other books are piled up. (I'll probably cave in and join.) Will be interested to hear your thoughts on the Bohjalian. I just finished it for my freelance book review gig.

  3. I didn't realize there was an Owen Meany read-along. I had just commented on another blog how 2 of my fave books were by John Irving but couldn't get past the 1st chapter of this book!

  4. Oh, John Irving (I am going to do this every time you mention him 🙂 )I haven't read Owen Meany yet, so I am very curious to see what you say about it. Have a great reading week! Kind regards,

  5. Oh, I remember that SNL skit and don't think I've laughed so hard in a long time. God bless Will Ferrell!Enjoy The Light in the Ruins. I think you are going to be impressed!

  6. The small text, ha ha 😀 Looks a great reading week, and I'm envious of you getting to read the Gortner :p

  7. Excited to start hearing what everyone thinks about the new Bohjalian novel. I've read two of his books and really wanted to love them, but something about how he ends his stories always angers me. Still, his premises and plots are so much fun. Enjoy Owen Meany!

  8. I look forward to you sharing your thoughts on Mandatory Release once you have finished the book… Which will be in no tim knowing you :-PHere's to a productive reading week 🙂My Book Bubble
