I'm still on the fence about joining the MEANY read-along … really, really want to but so many other books are piled up. (I'll probably cave in and join.) Will be interested to hear your thoughts on the Bohjalian. I just finished it for my freelance book review gig.

I didn't realize there was an Owen Meany read-along. I had just commented on another blog how 2 of my fave books were by John Irving but couldn't get past the 1st chapter of this book!

Excited to start hearing what everyone thinks about the new Bohjalian novel. I've read two of his books and really wanted to love them, but something about how he ends his stories always angers me. Still, his premises and plots are so much fun. Enjoy Owen Meany!

He does have a way of writing an ending that makes you lose your mind doesn't he?? We'll see how this one ends, lol.

Chris Bohjalian seems to be a pretty eclectic author. I always think of The Night Strangers, and it usually throws me off a bit. Will Farrell – LOL.
