Bloggiesta Starting Line! <~ Click!
Welcome to the starting line for Bloggiesta… the blogging party led by our fearless mascot PEDRO (Plan. Edit. Develop. Review. Organize.) and created several years ago by Natasha from Maw Books Blog and now co-hosted by Suey and Danielle. The idea behind Bloggiesta is to spend these next three days working on perfecting your blog and connecting with other bloggers who are doing the same thing.
I don’t have much of a to-do list going into this Bloggiesta.
There are a few specific things I’d like to accomplish this weekend:
- Catch up on reviews on Goodreads
- Catch up on reviews for Amazon
- Complete as many mini challenges as I can
- Visit and comment on participating blogs
Big whoop right? My list usually grows as I participate in mini challenges.
Are you participating? I hope to see you around!

Hi Jennifer, I know what you mean my list keeps growing every time I visit another participants blog. Then the mini-challenges are posted and those and the twitter parties are what I really enjoy. I'm sure I'll be chatting with you more this weekend. Good luck with your goals…here's my list http://momssmallvictories.com/bloggiesta-2013-goals/

It's so easy to get behind with GoodReads! Leaving space for mini-challenges sounds a good idea 🙂 Have a productive weekend!

I used to have the hardest time keeping up with reviews on Goodreads, too. I eventually started copying Kelly and posting my review on GR when I wrote it for my blog. Now it's one thing I always stay on top of. :)Good luck with your list!

Good luck with your list! I'm glad to see that not all of your to-do's are directly related to your blog. I have a number of side-issues that I want to deal with. Still, it's all about books, so I count it for Bloggiesta! Have a great weekend.

I'm delighted to meet you Jennifer – I LOVE the fresh bright look of your blog!Your big whoop comment about your goals made me laugh. I kept my list generic too because I wanted the flexibility to work on whatever I needed to this weekend without feeling boxed in – and I'm glad I did that after seeing the awesome challenges!Best of luck on your goals!Create With Joyhttp://create-with-joy.com

Put your reviews on B&N, too! I know it's another process, but you can always set a goal of like 5 a day or something! Sometimes I'm the only person who is reviewing a book on B&N when Amazon will have thousands of reviews. Here is my Bloggiesta To Do List!

I made up this absurdly long list this morning. There's no way I'm going to get to all of it, especially clearing out my e-mail which is a huge mess. I love that GIF at the end of your post — that's how I feel this morning!

I seriously think I only update Goodreads during Bloggiesta. 🙂 I add my books, but I rarely have time to add the reviews too. Wish I could be more disciplined, but I always feel like I'm running around, not getting anything accomplished.Have fun, and I hope you get a ton done!

Nice list! Should be pretty easy to check those off.I'm scared to check out the mini-challenges because I always go into them with good intentions and then I get frustrated because I'm such a \”look for the hassle in the simplest things\” kind of person. LOL! I think I will head over and check them out now…with blinders on. ;O)Have fun! Ole!
