Let’s Talk! 11/09/12

Originally hosted by Melissa from i swim for oceans, Smash & Kt took her original inspiration, and made it their own, expanding it to more than just books. Let’s get personal (but respectfully so) and learn more about one another!  Each week, a different question will be posted along with a place to link up your posts and visit other people’s responses. This meme is definitely meant to bring out conversation and meet new people. So, Let’s Talk!

today’s question:

What TV shows are you most excited for this Fall/Winter, and why? Yes, we encourage the pimping of hot men on TV. There is certainly no shortage of that this season!

I don’t watch much TV. I’m more likely to find a series on Netflix and watch it for a day or two (or three) straight. I recently devoured 4 seasons of Mad Men and now I’m impatiently waiting for season 5 to start streaming. Because Don Draper? O.M.G.
Hello, my name is Mr. Delicious!
My other Netflix loves at this time are Downtown Abbey (only one season, boo) and Breaking Bad, which I just started the other day.
As far as television series that I look forward to watching weekly? Grey’s Anatomy. I love that show like crazy. CRAZY. There’s plenty of eye-candy on that program of course. My favorite happens to be Kevin McKidd. His character, Owen, is fantastic. Not to mention he is wicked easy on the eyes.
Aren’t I brooding and adorable? Yes, yes I am.

What shows do you enjoy?

  1. I only saw a few episodes of Mad Men and didn't like it. I bet it's one of those kinds of shows though that I should give it a little while longer to click with me.Yay for Breaking Bad!! That's the only MUST see show I still have.

  2. I used to watch Grey's Anatomy, but since last season it kinda lost the appeal to me, especially after everyone is tumbling death. And don't watch historical but heard great things about these two.

  3. You already know my TV loves, but I'll list them again here anyway (all with hot guys BTW): Merlin, Robin Hood, Prison Break, Dr. Who, Downton Abbey, Revenge, Parenthood, Buffy, The Vampire Diaries, Once Upon a Time… just to name a few! I do most my TV watching on Netflix also. Ugh… it's too much! (the boys at my house loved Breaking Bad, but I'm a little nervous of it.)

  4. I used to watch Grey's but then I started reading and the tv just went *click*. I got so bored with tv. That happens in the summer and then fall rolls around and I could care less what happened in the Spring. I think that's why I never got back into Greys. And I totally agree with Kevin McKidd – ever since that scene in the boiler room with Christina to the Kanye West song. HOT!

  5. um… YES Don Draper. Yow! However I also am out of the on-TV-now loop a bit. We quit cable TV (and well, regular TV too) a few years ago and it's been great. Everything we'd want to watch we can find on Netflix or stream through the internet anyway. Regular question at our house:Husband: Do you want to watch motorcycles, drugs, blood, or zombies? [translation: Sons of Anarchy, Breaking Bad, Dexter, or Walking Dead]I also started watching \”The Killing\” on Netflix streaming; I like it. Great for fans of Law & Order: SVU (or any L&O)! Snaps for excessive force, cute Swedish man (sort of like a younger brother of Eric Northman from True Blood… I could be reaching, but nice-on-the-eyes anyway), and an awesome redhead female lead!

  6. Thank goodness for Netflix! I don't know what I'd do without it. I rarely watch regularly scheduled television. I like to follow my own schedule, I'm a rebel that way 😉 I think Sons of Anarchy will be one of the next Netflix obsessions, I keep hearing that it is an awesome show. Oh, Dexter too, my sister is trying to get me to watch that one. The Killing…haven't heard of that one but I'll check it out!

  7. The only shows I *must* catch on tv are Big Bang Theory and Modern Family. Other than those I tend to wait until a show is done an entire season and then watch all at once. Recent faves are Downton Abbey and The Walking Dead.
