Happy Monday Relentless Readers!
I love this meme hosted by Sheila from Book Journey.
It’s a great way to recap your week and to plan out your reading week ahead.
This week I read:
The Sandcastle Girls by Chris Bohjalian <~~ My review
Gold by Chris Cleave <~~ My review
The Big Necessity by Rose George <~~ My review
I shared an article on 9 reasons to save our public libraries here
and I posted some fun Lit Bits here.
It was a busy blogging week for me!
In giant fantastic groovy news I joined Twitter. Does that make me one of the cool kids?
I have yet to post my first tweet, that’s how uncool I really am.
I’m currently reading:
Up Next:
Then I should get going on something for The Classics Club.
But man oh man, 3 of the books I requested came in for me at the library!
What is a girl to do?
Have a fantastic week!
As always, happy reading!
The Big Necessity is on my wishlist.I had a fantastic week of reading so it's really difficult to pick a favorite book. I'm going to have go with a fan girl response and say the best (out of an extremely good set of books) was The Girl Who Fell Beneath Fairyland and Led the Revels There by Catherynne M. Valente. Please come and see what else I'm reading.

Hi Jennifer, I also love the cartoon! Very cute! I have a copy of Little Bee as well as Incendiary but I haven't gotten around to reading them yet. Gold looks really nice! I smiled at your poetry comment in my blog. 🙂 I think I love poetry more than prose, I like how obscure and cryptic it can get as everything is muddled in codes and secret twists in allegories and verses. 🙂 But yeah, prose is great too. 🙂

That cartoon is cracking me up. The library reserve list is always my swift and expensive downfall. I think I'm going on a self imposed library ban in September. I must read some of the books on my shelves!

The library is the bane of my life I walk through to browse come out with a pile of books! They've also put a price on reserving books- which I had hoped would make it harder for me to justify but I'm currently waiting on 4 books! Sounds like you had a great reading week and actually kept to wha tyou posted last week- something I never seem to manage! Have a lovely week!
