The Book of Jonas is a debut novel by Stephen Dau, I have a good feeling we’ll be hearing a lot more from this author.
The story revolves around a young Muslim war orphan who lost his parents in a military operation that went wrong in every way. His tale involves the fate of a US soldier who may or may not have saved him during the operation that killed the rest of his family.
To me this book is about memory and loss and what it is like to lose everything that matters to you. Let me know in the comments if you’ve read this novel, or if you plan to!
