Happy Monday everyone! Did you have a marvelous week? Did you read some great books? I hope so!

It was my 39th birthday on Saturday the 23rd. Yay me!

It went something like this

I also visited my tattoo artist this weekend. We’re working on a very bookish design. I’m extremely excited about it! Stay tuned for more.

Bloggish Business:
The Classic Club picked a spin number. I’ll be reading Dangerous Liaisons by Pierre Choderlos De Laclos. I’m very happy with that selection and I’m looking forward to diving into the book.
Happy reading!
Oh, and here’s a bit of Ryan Gosling to put a smile on your face. It always works for me!

Through Anna’s eyes we follow the story of the fateful year of 1666, as she and her fellow villagers confront the spread of disease and superstition.
The unbelievably riveting adventure of an unlikely young explorer who emerged from the jungles of Africa with evidence of a mysterious, still mythical beast—the gorilla—only to stumble straight into the center of the biggest debate of the day: Darwin’s theory of evolution
