The Relentless Weekly Wrap-Up 01/18/2015

Blogging:
I’ve started back up with the It’s Monday! What are you reading? meme. I also posted some itsy-bitsy mini reviews of 4 books I read at the end of 2014. (Saga, North of Boston, etc.) You can see my (incredibly short) Bloggiesta to do list here.

Reading:
I’m nearing the end of All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. It’s superb and I don’t want it to end.

My 2015 reading has started off marvelously! Knock on wood.

Cooking:
This was a great week on the food front. I made a Honey Garlic Chicken that was delicious. I also put together a pot of Broccoli and Cheese Soup. Hooray for cheesy, creamy, goodness! (Note to self: double the soup recipe next time.)

Watching:
After Gina Rodriguez’s win at the Golden Globes for best actress in a comedy series I decided that I needed to watch Jane the Virgin. It’s such a fun show! I’m putting off the last few episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation because I don’t want my rewatch to come to an end. Sob!

Sharing:
I am incredibly excited to participate in Amanda’s (Fig and Thistle) Valentine Swap for Book Lovers. Join us, won’t you?

Do you watch Jane the Virgin? Are you joining in the Bookish Valentine event? Have you cooked anything yummy lately? Tell me, tell me!

Mini Bloggiesta To Do List 2015

It’s time for the Winter Mini Bloggiesta!

I wasn’t going to participate because of time constraints: I work on Saturday and the Packers have a playoff game on Sunday. (Fingers firmly crossed) But I’ve just learned that the Mini Bloggiesta has been extended to Monday I’m going to see what I can get done that day!

Get ready for the smallest Bloggiesta to-do list in existence:

1. Clean up Twitter (I follow a lot of people that I’ve never had any interaction with. My feed is messy and hard to follow at times. It’s time to do some trimming.)

2. Participate in as many mini challenges as I can.

Big whoop, right?

Any excuse is a good one.
