The Relentless Weekly Wrap-Up 07/12/2015

It’s Sunday already? I’m not sure how that happened.
Reading:
I’m slowly reading The Oregon Trail. When I say slow I mean the molasses in January kind of slow.
Watching:
I blame my slow reading pace on my current binge-watch of Scandal. That show. Good grief, it’s like an addiction to sugar. So bad for you, but so good
Promoting:
We’ve been chatting about The Martian over on The Socratic Salon. Join us!
Cooking:
I made this Fiesta Chicken dish a few nights ago. It was tasty but not as flavorful as I had hoped. I might try it again, but I’ll add something to give it more zip. (Red pepper flakes, cayenne pepper, or sriracha? Something.)
Grumble, grumble.
One Last Thing:
I’m supposed to be participating in the #24in48 Readathon. In reality I’m sitting here being crabby about the spoilers I’ve read about Go Set a Watchman and longing to get back to my lover: Netflix. In other words, it’s time to go avoid the internet.
I hope you’ve had a good week and an even better weekend! What have you been reading, watching, cooking? I’d love to hear!

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 07/06/2015

Read:
(Click on each book for more information)

The Library at Mount Char is…wow, almost indescribable. I hope this mind-bender is on your radar!

Currently Reading:

Don’t you love a nonfiction book that fills your head with facts? The Oregon Trail is the nerdy, information packed, funny but factual, type of nonfiction that I adore.

Upcoming:

The options are endless which makes decision making extremely difficult. I’m running into that a lot more often lately.
What are you reading this week?
