Hooray! The Hartling family is heading to Florida! We’ll be gone for 6 days and plan on spending 3 of those days at at Universal Studios, home to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter!

We’re only a little excited.

I’m going to soak up as much sunshine as possible and drink as much butterbeer as I can fit in my tummy!

Gorgeous, right??

I turned 40 on the 23rd. It’s official, I’m old. Really, I feel 25…on the inside. I had a FANTASTIC birthday. My family threw me a surprise party. They pulled it off too, I had zero idea! I can’t begin to tell you how much fun it was. (I’m still picking confetti out of my hair.) Family came in from hours and hours away which made me feel like a million bucks. I sat opening gifts like a 10 year old girl and I felt like a spoiled princess. I got a Keurig! I got the yellow Fiestaware butter dish! Hooray! I could go on and on but I don’t want to make you sick. Ha!

Did I mention that I fell on the ice and am now wearing a cute splint on my stupid right wrist? Sigh. I’m beginning to feel quite unfriendly towards winter.

What else is going on? School is kicking my ass and I’m going on vacation tomorrow. You’ll hear all about that soon, I promise!
