Top Ten Tuesday – Books Recently Added to my To-Be-Read List

Hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

I have NO BUSINESS adding new books to my to-be-read pile. But I can’t help myself. I’m a greedy girl.

This week, the gals at The Broke and the Bookish asked us to list the top ten books we’ve recently added to our to-be-read list. Here are my most recent acquisitions:

The Oregon Trail by Rinker Buck
Eight Hundred Grapes by Laura Dave
A God in Ruins by Kate Atkinson
Fat Girl Walking by Brittany Gibbons
The Sunken Cathedral by Kate Walbert
The Truth and Other Lies by Sascha Arango
Spinster by Kate Bolick
Pioneer Girl by Laura Ingalls Wilder, edited by Pamela Smith Hill
Uh oh. As I was finishing up this post my mail carrier dropped off two more books that I’m super excited to read! Oh my word, you guys. I’m buried and I LOVE IT. Like I said, I’m a greedy girl.
Joan of Arc: A History by Helen Castor
Born Survivors by Wendy Holden
What books have you recently added to your to-be-read pile? Is it in danger of toppling over?

  1. And just HOW do you get these books to fall into your mail box? Not that I need to know. I would be too overwhelmed. Enjoy!

  2. I also recently received The Sunken Cathedral in the post; should be an interesting read. I still have yet to read Life After Life, might bump it up the to-read queue. Great list! 🙂My TTT

  3. I just added some to mine for the ReadingMyLibrary Challenge (graphic novels are a first for me!) so yes, definitely toppling over! I've heard so many good things about Kate Atkinson's writing, so I hope you enjoy this one. Happy reading 🙂

  4. Whoops. Things are happening to my tbr list. It's like the book titles jump on there all by themselves….I love your Top Ten Tuesday graphic, by the way. Did you make it??

  5. Look at all those! It's an embarrassment of riches! I am perpetually adding to my TBR pile, and a surfeit of March book sales means that I have a preposterous stack of books in my living room.

  6. Oregon Trail, yes! I feel like my childhood is coming back to me in books – Oregon Trail, Monopoly, Beanie Babies! Born Survivors is definitely one I look forward to!
