I plan on re-reading Dept. of Speculation for the upcoming discussion on The Socratic Salon.
In Other News:
My teen daughter guest-posted over on I’m Lost in Books. Becca generously asked if Avery would like to participate in her Women’s Lit Event. Avery wrote about the importance of feeling represented in books and the challenges of finding quality LGBT literature. Thank you, Becca, for including my kiddo in your event!
Happy Monday, ya’ll. Happy reading too!
Woo hoo! Way to go Avery!

I also am going to re-read Dept of Speculation for Socratic Salon chats. I was underwhelmed the first time, so we'll see how it goes the second time around. It's so short, it's not like it's a huge commitment to give it another go. 🙂 – Katie @ Bookish Tendencies

I actually really like Dept. of Speculation as soon as I got used to the writing style. Very unique storytelling. I'll have to check out Socratic Salon when they discuss (or sooner). I'm just starting Tampa and recently finished Hausfrau. So cool for your daughter. Going over to read it!
