The Relentless Weekly Wrap-Up 01/19/14

I didn’t do a wrap-up last week. Well, no, I did. However, I wasn’t able to publish it for some reason. (Thanks, Blogger!)

So, here’s what’s been going on in my reading life since the new year began.

Reviews:

Love Water Memory by Jennie Shortridge

The Scent of Pine by Lara Vapnyar

Read:

The Wife, The Maid, and The Mistress by Ariel Lawhon

Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein

The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion

Twelve Years a Slave by Solomon Northup

Belle Cora by Phillip Margulies

Currently Reading:

Madam: A Novel of New Orleans by Cari Lynn & Kellie Martin

Upcoming:

Beats me! Reading whatever I want, whenever I want, is absolutely DELIGHTFUL! Here are two of the books that are in the running:

Other Business:

The Mini-Bloggiesta is coming!
(My to-do list will be published later today)

I dropped my Goodreads goal from 200 to 150. (I’m behind schedule, already!) I had forgotten that I’m going back to school. I don’t know what that’s going to do to my reading time but I’m assuming I won’t have as much of it!

2014 Reading Challenge

Nice start.

You have read 5 of 150 books

2 books behind schedule

Happy Reading

Have a great week, everyone!

  3. Anya's Ghost is such a fun, quicky read. Loved it! And you have read some good-lookin' stuff. I really want to get to The Rosie Project (you're a lot of the reason I bought it when it was a daily deal recently), and I've heard nothing but good things about Twelve Years a Slave.

  5. Oooh what are you going back to school for? Sorry if you posted about it, I may have missed it in my new-child delirium. šŸ™‚ And I am totes jealous of your read-what-I-want plan…I cut back to one TLC book tour a month this year…but given how slow I'm reading, it's still taking up a lot of my reading time! Ah well. At least they send me good books…
