The Relentless Weekly Wrap-Up 11/03/13

Reviews:

None this week (!!!)

Read:

Constance by Franny Moyle

The Butler by Wil Haygood

The Execution of Noa P. Singleton by Elizabeth L. Silver

Currently Reading:

I’m currently deciding what to read next. Or maybe I’ll continue to watch Parks and Recreation on Netflix instead? I don’t know man, don’t rush me.

Why have I only just discovered this program? It’s ridiculously awesome.

Upcoming:

I am still waiting for the first book in the MaddAddam trilogy to arrive from the library. Argh. Otherwise I’m reading on a whim baby, and it feels awesome.

Other Business:

The Red Sox won the World Series. That was pretty awesome, right? In other sports news, my beloved Green Bay Packers play Chicago on Monday night. It should be a good game. Can’t wait! Aren’t Monday night games the best?

I hope you all had a great week. Here’s to another! And, as always, HAPPY READING!

  1. In answer to your questions, in order: 1.) Yes, continue watching Parks & Rec, 2.) Because you're a loser. See associated Facebook comment. :P, 3.) No, as a Yankees fan, I definitely can say not awesome, and 4.) I don't watch football. So there. Again πŸ˜›

  3. Wooooo reading on a whim! I'm a fan. Also, I used to love the Green Bay Packers when I was a kid. I don't really know why, but I did. And now I'm always too busy to watch football :/ I'll root for them in my head.Have a great week!! πŸ˜€

  4. Can.Not.Stand the Red Sox (I used to live a mile from and work a block from Fenway Park…that was pretty ugly). However, I'm a huge Packers Fan, much to my Seahawk-fan husband's dismay, so I'll be rooting with you on Monday night!

  5. Go Sox! And I have to shout out to my FSU Seminoles for beating Miami! That was fab, too. I'm with you on the Netflix thing though, it's fabulous but sucks up my reading time!!!!

  6. Okay, but I'm sort of missing the reviews. We are a house divided but I cannot endorse the Sox winning the World Series. However, the Cardinals, blah too. Enjoy your reads and recommend me some good reads this week, 'kay?

  7. I'm finally reading on a whim this week too πŸ™‚ It's exciting but I've also been feeling a bit lost each time I finish a book and don't have something I have to start next!

  8. I pretty much always read on a whim. Lol. Welcome to the dark side!I can't watch Parks and Rec – it is just so uncomfortable for me! So awkward and I feel embarrassed for the characters, I have to leave the room. That always happened to me watching The Office too.

  9. Haha yeah, Andy no doubt about it. I'm really behind on my reviews too which is unusual of me… hoping to be all caught up though by the end of the week πŸ™‚
