The Courtiers by Lucy Worsley
Don’t Hurry me Down to Hades by Susannah Ural
Writers Between the Covers by Joni Rendon & Shannon McKenna Schmidt
Hippie Boy by Ingrid Ricks
The Invisible Wall by Harry Bernstein
Hey, every single one of those are nonfiction. I just realized that this second.
Currently Reading:
Surprise! I’m reading November’s Fury by Michael Schumacher. Yet another nonfiction book!
Upcoming:
I’ll be reading on a whim. I’m going to browse my local library, scroll through the books on my Kindle, and see what I have sitting on my shelves.
Other Business:
I’m very much looking forward to Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon! It is seriously the most fun to be had. Are you participating?
Another fun event I’ll be participating in is the Literary Blog Hop hosted by Judith at Leeswammes’ Blog.
Did you all have a good week? What’s up in your life? Tell me, I’m nosy!
The Courtiers and The Invisible Wall look like good finds to me. Enjoy your week reading and walking!

Oooh. I'm doing the walking thing too. I think reading books makes us a sedentary lot, so this is a great way to get us out and moving!

Woooooo NON-FICTION! You are on a roll, lady! That 30 mins for 30 days challenge sounds really fun! I wish I had heard of it earlier, it might have given me more motivation to get off my ass this week, lol. I mean, I was kiiiind of busy, but I could have fit it in if I had really wanted to. I'm hoping to get to the gym more this week, even though I'm working more than last week. Cause I do things that make sense…. (not).

You just gave me tons of non-fiction to check out! I'm so excited for you that you'll be able to read on a whim! And I can't wait for Readathon/Literary Blog Hop – two great events.

I'm so looking forward to the readathon too. I haven't done it in a few years so we'll see how it goes.

You had another fabulous week! What did you think of The Courtiers? It sounds fascinating. I'm not participating in the readathon given it's Thanksgiving here next weekend and so I'll be stuffing myself with turkey and pumpkin pie rather than reading LOL, but I will participate one of these days. BTW — I bought Burial Rites since you recommended it so highly 🙂

Well, to be honest, I'm stuck on reading a bit, but I'm doing well otherwise. Thanks for asking. 🙂 Today, I'm working on reading Sunday blog posts from my favorite book bloggers (hmmm, what am I doing here? 😉 ) and then a project for the Book Bloggers Do It Better Google Plus community. Book blogging today, but sadly, probably not time for reading.

I'm on my second non-fiction book of the past week … I *rarely* read non-fiction, so it's very strange! The Invisible Wall looks really good! Yay for the Dewey read-a-thon! I wish I could participate but I doubt I'll last 24 hours what with being preggo and all. Maybe I'll try and participate for some of the day! Have a good week!

November's Fury looks awesome!!! I am anxiously awaiting your review! No pressure though. Lol. Random fact about my life – I was born right after the Edmund Fitzgerald sank, and when my mom was leaving the hospital with me, she could hear the bells ringing at Mariner's Church in Detroit in memory of those lives lost.

It's a good one so far 😀 Reading it made me think of the Fitzgerald, of course. That's a creepy cool memory Erin, love it! One of the coolest things about this book is the mention of all of the cities around Lake Superior that I know well.

Writers Between the Covers sounds completely amazing! I'm reading something similar at the moment that focuses on the relationship of women writers in the 20th Century. It's so gossipy I love it. May have to check this one out too. Looks like you've had another excellent reading week 😀
