Bookish Business:

I’ll be guest posting over at The Well-Read Redhead this Friday. It’s the first time someone has let me babble on their blog and I’m all in a tizzy over it!

Don’t forget that I’ll be participating in the Literary Blog Hop starting on Saturday the 22nd. Come do some hopping and win some books. Sweet!

The best news of all? THE SLUMP IS OVER! I’m back to reading like a demon and I couldn’t be happier!

Happy Father’s Day to all of the daddies out there!

  1. Yes, ditto all the well wishes that the slump is over. 🙂 I know I've said it before, but I love your gif posts. In fact, it sort of inspired me today. Of course, I can't hold a candle to your posts.

  2. Yay for your slump being over! Those things are awful! 🙂 I'm behind on my Classics Spin book too. It's The Iliad so it'll probably take me a while to read! Enjoy your week.

  3. Hooray for breaking out of your slump!Robinson Crusoe, yet another classic I need to get to… even though I'm keeping up at a good pace, sometimes I feel like I'll never manage to read all those classics on my list!

  4. Ha! I didn't think of it like that! I was in the middle of Under the Dome when the slump hit me. Probably because I was trying to read another book at the same time. I won't be trying that again anytime soon!

  5. I am so happy to hear you are out of you slump, I know how horrible it is to not want to read, or to want to read, but not like any book you pick up. So yeah, it is over and I see you managed to read many books again, even Stephen King, well done!Kind regards, (and see you at the blog hop)

  6. Good for you that the slump is over!!!! Yah! I think we all go through that (heck I've been in a blogging slump for 6 months!). I can't wait to see what you think of Golden Boy. I've read so much about it.

  10. I see you finished Under the Dome. I am reading that right now so I will be curious to see what you think. To be honest, I am struggling with it. I haven't read Stephen King since The Tommyknockers and I'm just having trouble getting into it.

  11. Isn't this community the BEST? They sustain me :)Being able to really dig into Under the Dome helped. I was reading other books alongside of it which wasn't working for me. Right after Under the Dome I read Ordinary Grace by William Krueger. It was a beauty! My review will be posted tomorrow 🙂

  13. Glad to hear you beat your slump. I think I have one coming on. The hubby and I were discussing Stephen King last night, I haven't read any of his work in a long time. Have a great week!

  14. Thanks 😀 It had been a long time for me as well. I read a short story collection of his this year but I hadn't read a big ol' classic King in many years. I was glad to sink back into his craziness, lol.
