Many of you know that Book Blogger Appreciation Week just wrapped up. I can’t say enough about this event. I met so many wonderful people, I found a lot of new blogs to read and I have a whole new respect for what we do and why we do it.

I've read Gone with the Wind but back in the days before my website was a book blog. My favorite book this week was the audio of Life As We Knew It by Susan Beth Pfeffer. Please come see what I'm reading now.

Oh my gosh!! Lol! I have done that before too! The cover on my book was different, maybe that threw you. 😉 I have wanted to read The Homecoming of Samuel Lake, but I have also heard there is a scene in it I am not sure I could take. When you finish reading it, I will have to ask you about it. The Hundred Flowers sounds really good, I will have to read it.Congrats on 100 followers!

I've enjoyed Moran's work, but I haven't gotten her newest yet. Her reads are always fresh and of page turning status. AND LMAO at the the Goolrick adventure!!! I read several mixed reviews and it seems like it would not be a cuppa tea with the psycho/sex thing but otherwise the creepiness of it did at first intrigue me.I would love to be able to read Gone With the Wind again.Thanks for visiting my Monday post.

I was thinking ooooh it's supposed to be kinda creepy, great read for the RIP event. Whoops, lol. I'm looking forward to reading this newest Moran, I like her work as well. I dare ya to pick up Gone With the Wind again 😉 It's a chunky, but fabulous, book!

I'm really hoping that I can keep a better record of what I've read, but since I'm new to blogging I have years of reading behind me wherein I kept zero record. So this will probably happen to me a time or two more 😉

That's why I hate when they change the book cover or even the book title depending on what country it's published! Don't feel so bad…it can easily happen to anyone especially if you read a lot of books.

I'm fairly certain that I haven't read any of her other work either, but I'd love to. Then again, maybe I've read everything of hers..my memory is shot lately. 😉

I'm still a nervous nelli about poetry but I'm hoping that by the end of the course I'll have a much better understanding of it all 🙂 They both were demanding reads, but well worth it. I always find myself drawn to those heavy sort of books.

I am sure you are not the first or the last to accidentally pick up a book you've already read. It's a peril of book loving, I suppose. The Homecoming of Samuel Lake sounds great. I will definitely check back for your thoughts. 🙂

Heh, I'm not saying anything… my recollection of a book I've read earlier in the year (or before that) usually becomes hazy. That comes with reading a lot I think? 😉 Also, I tend to forget which books I've got on the shelves. But I haven't yet purchased the same book twice *phew*BBAW was amazing, wasn't it? 🙂 I'm slowly backtracking through your blogposts…

If I didn't write down all the books I read, I'd never remember if I was picking up a duplicate until I started reading. Sometimes I've even spent money on a duplicate :)Have a great week!

It's so nice to hear from everyone that I'm not the only silly book lover who has accidentally reread something! One good thing for me is that I rarely buy books anymore. I had to cut myself off a few years ago. So the worst that can happen is that I make an extra trip to the library! BBAW was so much fun! I had a great feeling about this community from the start. Seeing it in action was amazing 😀

I don't think I've actually done that, but I know that it's been a near thing several times. Don't feel bad!I just read Madame Tussaud by Michelle Moran and loved it. It was one of my favorites so far this year. Enjoy your week! Oh, and congratulations on 100 followers!
